Jose E. Valenzuela III, Esq. is an excellent attorney that has been licensed in Nevada since 2011. Mr. Valenzuela is originally from Oxnard, California where he enjoyed growing up with a large Mexican American family. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. After that, he passed the Series 7 General Securities License Exam and worked for a financial planning firm. However, Mr. Valenzuela’s thirst for a challenge did not stop there. He then enrolled and graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law (UNLV). While in law school, Mr. Valenzuela worked for the Law Offices of Daniel S. Simon where he worked exclusively on personal injury matters. Additionally, Mr. Valenzuela was an extern for the Honorable Stefan Miley where he aided her in presiding over criminal and civil cases.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Valenzuela served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Ronald J. Israel. During that time, Mr. Valenzuela was exposed to numerous civil litigations relating to personal injury claims, business disputes, criminal record sealing hearings, real estate disputes and numerous other areas of litigation. Indeed, Mr. Valenzuela gained unique experience seeing how judges and the judicial system view legal claims and rule of cases.
After serving as a Judicial Law Clerk, Mr. Valenzuela became employed with the prestigious law firm Santoro Whitmire. While with Santoro Whitmire, Mr. Valenzuela practiced in complex commercial/business litigation. Mr. Valenzuela honed his legal researching and writing abilities working for some of the best business attorneys in Nevada. He practiced in areas of law pertaining to corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, sole proprietorships, business contracts and other complex legal issues.
Mr. Valenzuela was then employed by the City of North Las Vegas as a Deputy City Attorney. During his time with the City, Mr. Valenzuela reviewed, drafted and approved hundreds of contracts related to the City’s internal and external operations. Mr. Valenzuela also represented the City in litigation matters pertaining to slip and fall claims, civil rights claims, discrimination claims, property ownership disputes and other employer related litigation cases. Mr. Valenzuela also practiced governmental law relating to public boards, public records requests, planning and zoning, business licensing, and other governmental functions.
Most recently, Mr. Valenzuela was employed with the LBC Law Group where he practiced in personal injury litigation, business litigation, and contracts drafting and review. During this time, Mr. Valenzuela litigated a large amount of cases where he argued at court hearings, took depositions, drafted discovery, sent subpoenas, negotiated with opposing attorneys and settled numerous cases. Suffice to say, Mr. Valenzuela has a great deal of experience working on a wide range of legal practice areas.
In his spare time, Mr. Valenzuela loves spending time with his beautiful wife Jessica and their two wonderful dogs Teddy and Marshal. He enjoys hiking, snowboarding, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Valenzuela believes in giving back to his community and has served as the President of the Latin Bar Association, Board of Directors of the Latin Chamber of Commerce, President of the Phi Alpha Delta law school fraternity, President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and numerous other executive positions along the way. In short, Mr. Valenzuela strives to aid those who do not have the means to help themselves. .
